The UIS’s Research Cold Store service provided competitively priced, resilient, enterprise-grade storage that allows users to store large amounts of infrequently accessed research data. Its features have been designed to balance the need to protect data in accordance with its value and longevity against prohibitive costs. Click here for more information on RCS.

From 1 April 2026 we began migrating users and projects from RCS to Research DataVault. You will be contacted when your project will be migrated. All reasonable efforts will be made to try to maintain access to your data for you.
