Welcome to the Reasearch Data Storage User Documentation.
We offer three storage services to suit your research data needs; Research Data Storage (RDS), Research File Share (RFS), and Research DataVault (RDV).
Note
From 1 April 2026 we began migrating users and projects from RCS to Research DataVault. You will be contacted when your project will be migrated. All reasonable efforts will be made to try to maintain access to your data for you.
Storage services are designed with flexibility in mind, the self-service model allows researchers, groups & institutions to control their purchased data storage and allocate it as seen fit. Purchasing, access control and management of allocations are all taken care of through the self-service portal.
