.. _rdv_cluster: Access RDV from the HPC Clusters ================================ If you have requested RDV storage space, that space will be assigned a project directory. You can consistently access it using the automount paths present under /rdv on all login nodes: .. code-block:: bash /rdv/project/ Example: .. code:: bash /rdv/project/Q5jpzqn0PlM This project code is referred to as a 'slug' and is used internally to track your project. For convenience, a link will be created for you under the project owners /rdv/user directory using your supplied human-friendly name. Example: .. code:: bash /rdv/user/wjt27/internal-project-files-Q5jpzqn0PlM Note that the slug is appended to your friendly name. In communications to support, the slug is important so we can track your project. If you are a member of multiple projects they will be listed under your /rdv/user directory. Data can be transferred in or out of the service in the same ways in which you would normally transfer data into or out of the HPC clusters (i.e. by rsync, scp etc to the cluster login nodes).
